SOME HIGHLIGHTS -
* At the age of sixteen, Gunnar established himself a state wide reputation in Wisconsin, performing with the best caliber musicians that Madison had to offer, including Keith Knudson (the drummer of "The Doobie Brother").
* At seventeen, Gunnar combined his writing/performing talents with the New York based hard rock group "Django" who together spun out two singles in Holland, followed by a European tour.
* At 21, Gunnar was once again in Great Neck, New York with producers Kaznetz and Katz collaborating on hit song arrangements for Casablanca Records. Does anyone remember Ram Jam's hit song titled "Black Betty"?
* 1980 sparked a promising year for Gunnar, as "Cheap Trick's" manager Ken Adamany sought out Madison's #1 premier rock group "Punch", for their new styles of originals signatured by Gunnar and Gill. Later to form out of the bands lineup was "Little Vito and the Torpedoes."
* Family health needs brought Gunnar back to his hometown Wausau, to join the sixties band "Duece Coupe" in the capacity of Keyboardist/Bassist/Lead Vocalist, also spearheading Sunday and Tuesday night jam session lineups in local area pubs, included participating members of Wausau's own "Tango" and "Blindside".
